After watching the Georgetown Hoyas upset the Louisville Cardinals at the Verizon Center in Downtown Washington, DC, I decided to make the short trip to Georgetown's campus. During my visit, I was lucky enough to take in a women's basketball game, walk the entire acreage, and catch the softball team practicing.
The Hoya Softball Team begin play Feb. 8th vs North Carolina State, at the FIU tournament in Miami, Florida. For more information about the team Click Here!
The women's basketball team won their game vs Pittsburgh, the final score was 69-57. They are 12-8 and worth a watch at McDonough Gym. For more information about the team Click Here!
Here are some of the photos I snapped off while walking the beautiful and historic campus. With an enrollment of approximately 7,600 undergraduates, the 104 acres is one of my favorite college spots. If you ever find yourself in the nation's capital, make a visit, it's well worth it.
